important health information
about our Gatherings

Warehouse Church Health Guidelines

It's important that we meet together to worship God, pray, and hear His word taught.  If you are not at risk, or caring for someone who is at risk, we'd love for you to join us!

Local churches are an essential part of a healthy life, and we will be following guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure that we are able to gather safely in a way that honors God and complies with all reasonable laws and guidelines set forth by our government.

Following is some general information you need to understand in order to make the decision to meet with us when we reopen.

Is there anyone who should NOT come to an in person worship gathering?
          Yes.

If any of the following apply to you, we lovingly ask that you stay home and consider joining us
via Facebook livestream for worship service.

               - If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
                    - The symptoms of COVID-19 include:

                         - cough
                         - shortness of breath or difficulty breathing (especially if unusual for you or a sudden onset)
                         - fever (100°F or higher)
                         - chills
                         - muscle pain
                         - new or sudden loss of taste or smell.
               - If you have been  in contact with anyone exhibiting the symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
               - If you have had a fever greater than 100°F in the past 48 hours.

Should I wear a mask?

We are encouraging attenders to wear a face covering or mask while in the building.

Please remember that wearing a face covering is something that is done to help protect others
in the event that you might have the COVID-19 virus and be unaware and not showing symptoms.
This is something we do to serve others, and help others be more comfortable in public social settings.

Illinois recommendations include that anyone over the age of 2 years should wear a face covering
or non-medical mask at all times when in public and social distancing is difficult.

If you are medically able to wear a mask or face covering, we ask that you do so in any of the common areas
of our building including lobbies, stair wells, and any area where a distance of 6 feet between people
          is not possible.

We will have a supply of masks available if you do not have your own.

Should I come if I am in a high-risk group?
          Maybe.

Certain groups of people are at a higher risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus, these include people who:
               - are over age 65
               - are immunocompromised
               - suffer from another respiratory ailment (such as COPD or asthma)
               - have diabetes
               - have liver disease
               - have an existing heart condition

If you are in one of the higher risk groups, and feel that you may be unable to properly maintain
safe social distancing, it may be wise for you to choose to join us via Facebook livestream for worship service.

Are visitors welcome to join us for worship service?
          Yes!

At Warehouse Church our long-standing invitation is one of All Sinners Welcome.
As such, we hope to open our doors to anyone with a desire to know God better
who would choose to join with us to worship and honor Him.

What should I expect when entering the building?
A few things will be different when we reopen for in person services.
In addition to a warm welcome from our Good Morning Team at the door,
you should expect a few quick safety measures when entering the building.
We ask that you are patient and understanding as we serve to keep everyone safe.

          When entering the building:
               - everyone will be asked the following 3 questions:
                    - Have you shown any of the symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
                    - Have you had contact with anyone exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms in the past 14 days?
                    - Have you had a temperature greater than 100°F in the past 48 hours?
               - everyone will have their temperature taken with a “no touch” forehead scanner
to make sure noone entering the building has a temperature over 100°F
               - everyone entering the building will be asked to please wear a mask or face covering,
               - and will have one offered to them if they have not brought their own
               - everyone will be asked to sanitize their hands and the greeter at the door will provide hand sanitizer

If you are unable or unwilling to serve others by following these simple requests,
we lovingly ask that you consider choosing to join us via Facebook livestream for worship service.

Where should I sit?
Our auditorium will be available as usual for those who are able to navigate the stairs.
If you are sitting in the auditorium we understand that family members will choose to sit closely together
however we ask that you please leave some space between your family and others.
This can be accomplished by leaving an empty row between you and those in front or in back of you
or leaving two seats empty between you and a person in the same row.

We will continue to have our video venue in our fireplace room for those unable to navigate the stairs.
If you are sitting in our fireplace room we ask that you follow the same guidelines for our auditorium
to help maintain social distance between families.

If necessary we will have additional seating available in our coffeehouse as a secondary video venue.
If this is available and you are sitting in the coffeehouse, please allow for distance between yourself
or your family and others as you would in a similar public venue.

Will the children have their own worship service?
          Yes.

A few things you should know about our children gathering for worship as we reopen:
               - Masks for kids are recommended, but not required (teachers and helpers will wear masks the entire time)
               - Everyone upon entering the classrooms will be required to wash their hands.
               - Only children and scheduled teachers will be allowed in the classrooms.
               - Classrooms will be sanitized before and after class.
               - Children will start in their respective age classrooms (instead of everyone meeting in older kids' room)
               - If your child has any sickness symptoms they will be denied entry into class.
(This includes runny nose, cough, and fever).

If you have any specific questions about our children's ministry, you can reach out to Holly Crawford directly,
          or contact the church office.

Will we be having nursery service for the youngest of our family?
          Yes.

Our nursery volunteers have always exercised a high level of care with our youngest children,
and that will continue during this current challenge. Our nursery has been cleaned and sanitized,
and our volunteers will ensure that all surfaces will be cleaned as often as necessary to serve
          and serve well.

Use of some toys may be limited during this time, and parents are asked to consider leaving at home
any personal toys that may be shared in order to avoid the spread of COVID-19, or other germs & bacteria.

If you have any specific questions about our nursery, you can contact Kim Vadner or Sarah Button directly,
          or contact the church office.

Thank you for serving others and being mindful of the serious nature of the COVID-19 virus
in choosing how you will worship with us as we reopen our doors to in person gatherings.

We ask that everyone who joins us in person come with an attitude of service to others,
and remain mindful of others, and their safety, comfort, and peace of mind.

Together we will overcome this current challenge, and we will be closer and more deeply appreciative
of one another thanks to God's guidance and our faith and trust in Him.

          You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh;
rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command:
         “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

                                                                          -Galatians 5:13-14

We meet at 10:00am every Sunday morning.
